Most writing jobs start with a blank page and a deadline. This text generator gives you a structured first draft in the format, tone and length you choose, so your time goes into editing rather than starting.
The three dropdowns do most of the shaping, so it pays to match them to the job. This is how we pick.
| Content Type | Typical Use | Add to Your Topic |
|---|---|---|
| Article | An explainer or in-depth piece | The angle and the key points to cover |
| Blog Post | A company or personal blog entry | The reader, their question and your call to action |
| Social Post | A post for a social network | The platform name and the goal of the post |
| Product Description | A store or listing page | Product name, key features and the buyer |
| A newsletter, update or outreach message | The recipient, the purpose and the reply you want | |
| Speech | A toast, talk or presentation | The event, the audience and the main message |
Use Professional for clients and formal updates, Casual for communities and friendly emails, Persuasive for sales pages and calls to action, and Informative for how-to content and explainers.
Short suits a social post, a product blurb or a quick email. Medium fits a blog intro, a newsletter section or a full product description. Long works for a short article or a first speech draft. For anything longer, generate it section by section and join the parts yourself.
The Topic field is where most drafts are won or lost. A one-word topic forces the AI to guess, and guesses read as generic. Add the reader, the purpose and the facts that matter.
| Vague Topic | Stronger Topic |
|---|---|
| remote work | how small agency owners can run a 15-minute weekly check-in with remote staff |
| new shoes | waterproof trail running shoe for women, key features: strong grip, light weight, wide toe box |
| webinar | invite existing customers to a free budgeting webinar and ask them to register |
For social posts, name the platform in the topic so the format fits it. Social drafts can also include hashtag suggestions, which you should trim to the few that genuinely match your post.
Example: This is an illustration. Your draft will differ each time.
A good draft from these inputs states the new hours in the first lines, thanks members for asking, and closes with a friendly invitation to drop in on the first Saturday. When we edit a draft like this, we check the hours and start date first, cut any phrase we would never say out loud, and add one detail only we know, such as which classes run on Saturdays.
Treat the output as a draft that saves you the first hour, not a finished piece. We run every draft through this checklist.
The text is generated with AI, so its strengths and gaps are worth knowing.
Write the topic as a full sentence with the reader and the goal in it. The draft gets far more specific.
Name the platform for social posts, such as LinkedIn or Instagram, so the format and length fit.
Start with Short to test the angle, then switch to Medium or Long once the direction is right.
Add the facts you want included, such as prices or dates, so the AI does not fill gaps with guesses.
Generate twice with different tones and combine the best lines from each version.
Writing good content manually takes time, even experienced writers need 30-60 minutes for a 300-word piece. If you're producing content across multiple channels or formats regularly, that time compounds fast. The AI handles the first draft in seconds, leaving you to focus on editing and adding unique value rather than generating structure from nothing.
Freelance writers produce high-quality, polished content but come with turnaround time, briefing overhead, and per-piece costs. For volume content, quick social posts, or internal drafts that don't require a specialist voice, an AI text generator covers the same ground instantly and for free.
General-purpose AI chat tools can write text, but they require detailed prompting to hit the right format, tone, and length. This tool structures those variables into simple dropdowns, no prompt engineering needed, so you get consistently formatted output without having to know how to ask for it correctly.
Yes. The AI text generator is free to use with no account or sign-up. Type a topic, choose a content type, tone and word count, then click Generate Text. Copy the draft into your own editor and run it again with a sharper topic whenever you want a different version.
It writes six content types: articles, blog posts, social posts, product descriptions, emails and speeches. Each can be Professional, Casual, Persuasive or Informative in tone, and Short, Medium or Long at roughly 100, 300 or 600 words. For other formats, describe what you need in the Topic field.
Yes. The text you generate is yours to use, including for business and commercial work, with no attribution needed. Because it is generated with AI, edit it before publishing, check every fact, and run a plagiarism checker for academic or professional work where originality really matters.
Yes. There is no separate language menu, so write your topic in the language you want or add a short note such as write in Spanish. Have a fluent speaker review the result before you publish it, since tone and idioms are where AI translations most often slip.
It is generally reliable on mainstream topics, but it can miss details or make mistakes on specialist, technical or very recent subjects. It also knows nothing about your business beyond what you type. Check facts, figures and claims, and ask an expert to review technical content before it goes out.
You do not need to write a long prompt. The form asks for the four things that shape most drafts: topic, content type, tone and length. That makes it quicker for routine writing jobs. For long documents or back-and-forth revisions, a chat assistant gives you more control over the result.
