Hey, We're Onethread!

Keeping projects on track is hard when tasks sit in spreadsheets and updates get lost in inboxes. We built Onethread so your team can plan, assign, and track all its work in one place.

Our Story

When we started Onethread, we kept seeing the same problem in the small teams around us. Tasks lived in one spreadsheet, deadlines in another, and the update that mattered was buried in an email thread nobody opened.

Managers stayed up late updating trackers by hand. Some people had too much on their plate, while others waited for work. Deadlines slipped, and clients noticed.

The big project management tools could fix this, but they were built and priced for large companies. Startups, agencies, and NGOs needed something simpler: a tool they could set up in an afternoon and afford from day one.

So we built Onethread around one idea. Every project, task, conversation, and document should live in one thread. That meant task management, project planning with phases and milestones, dashboards, discussions, and a wiki, all in the same place.

Our first version did the job, but it wasn’t easy enough to use. So we rebuilt the design from the ground up to make project setup, task updates, and progress tracking simpler.

Customer feedback still drives the product. When the teams using Onethread ask for a feature, we listen and build it.

Today, more than 835 digital agencies and startups use Onethread, and the first ten users on every account stay free. Our goal is simple: to be the project management tool growing teams never have to outgrow.
