Look up Pictory pricing and you’ll find three price lists. One guide says $19, another says $23, and several still count video minutes Pictory no longer sells.
Pictory costs $25, $35 or $119 a month billed annually for Starter, Professional and Teams. Monthly billing runs $29, $59 and $199.
But the sticker price isn’t the whole bill. Every plan now draws from one shared pool of credits.
We read Pictory’s pricing page and plan table, then checked 10 outside reviews against it.
Here’s what each plan includes and what you pay for each minute of video.
Key Points
- Pictory costs $25 (Starter), $35 (Professional) and $119 (Teams) a month on annual billing, or $29, $59 and $199 billed monthly. Enterprise is a custom quote.
- Budget in credits, not videos. Starter’s 2,000 monthly credits cover about 30 minutes of standard video, or six eight-second Veo 3.1 clips with audio.
- Professional is the best value for one person, at about $0.39 a minute of video on annual billing against $0.83 on Starter.
- Download every video before you cancel. Pictory gives no refunds on paid plans and deletes your projects when the account closes.
How Much Does Pictory Cost per Month?
Pictory costs $29 to $199 a month on monthly billing, or $25 to $119 a month paid yearly. Enterprise has no public price.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) | Yearly total (annual) | Credits | Video minutes (up to) | Users |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $29 | $25 | $300 | 2,000 a month or 24,000 a year | 30 a month or 360 a year | 1 |
| Professional | $59 | $35 | $420 | 6,000 a month or 72,000 a year | 90 a month or 1,080 a year | 1 |
| Teams | $199 | $119 | $1,428 | 18,000 a month or 216,000 a year | 300 a month or 3,600 a year | 3 or more |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Custom quote | Custom quote | Custom | Custom | Custom |
Annual plans grant all credits upfront. Monthly plans refresh each month. Pictory also adds a video consultation to annual plans and values it at $210.
Example: Professional on monthly billing costs $59 × 12 = $708 a year. Paid yearly at $35 a month, it costs $420, so you save $288.

How Do Pictory Credits and Video Minutes Work?
Pictory credits are one shared pool that pays for every AI feature. The minutes on each plan card show how far that pool goes for a standard video.
That works out to about 67 credits per minute on Starter and Professional. Teams gets a slightly better rate of 60. We got both by dividing each plan’s credits by its minutes.

Those minutes assume scenes built from stock footage. Generated clips cost far more. Veo 3.1 charges 20 credits per second without audio and 40 with it. Veo 3.1 Fast charges 10 and 15.
Example: One eight-second Veo 3.1 clip with audio uses 8 × 40 = 320 credits. Starter’s 2,000 monthly credits buy six of those clips, with 80 credits left over.
Images cost much less. Google Nano Banana Pro uses 14 credits per image, and Flux Schnell uses 0.6. So a few hundred images barely dent a plan.
Here’s the problem with older guides. Many still list 200, 600 and 1,800 video minutes a month. That was the old model, and it no longer matches the plan cards.
Top Tip: Check the credit cost in the prompt box before you make a Pixverse clip. Pictory shows that price only there, and it changes with length and audio.
What Does the Pictory Starter Plan Include?
Starter is the solo plan. It includes 1 user, 1 brand kit and every AI model Pictory offers, from ElevenLabs voices to stock avatars.
You get 5 GB of storage, 1080p exports and over 5 million stock videos from Getty Images and Storyblocks. Videos made from a script or URL run up to 30 minutes. The editor takes uploads up to 60 minutes and 1 GB.
Say you make a two-minute video from one blog post each week. That’s about 8 to 10 minutes a month, well inside Starter’s 30. The same pool also pays for any AI images you add, so leave some room. Fastio’s review puts it plainly: “This covers basic content repurposing for a solo creator or small blog.”
Pricing: $25 a month on annual billing, which is $300 a year, or $29 billed monthly.
Best For
- Solo creators who make a few short videos a month from posts or scripts.
Pros
- Lowest entry price of any paid Pictory plan.
- Every AI model, ElevenLabs voices and stock avatars.
- 1080p exports with no Pictory branding or watermark.
Cons
- Highest cost per minute of the paid plans.
- Only 7 languages and 1 brand kit for every video.
- No voice clones, custom avatars or video summaries.
What Does the Pictory Professional Plan Include?
Professional is the plan Pictory marks as most popular. It adds voice clones, 2 custom avatars, custom brand fonts and unlimited standard voices.
It also triples ElevenLabs voice and avatar usage, and opens 18 million+ stock videos, against 5 million on Starter. Premium music grows to 15,000 tracks. Storage rises to 20 GB, and the editor takes uploads up to 180 minutes and 5 GB.
Picture a weekly YouTube channel with your own cloned voice. Four 10-minute videos use 40 of the 90 monthly minutes. That leaves room for a few short clips or a second language version.
And Professional speaks 29 languages, not 7. It also adds automatic video summaries, which cut a long recording down to its key moments. Starter doesn’t include them.
Pricing: $35 a month on annual billing, which is $420 a year, or $59 billed monthly.
Best For
- Creators who publish weekly and want their own voice or face on every video.
Pros
- Lowest annual cost per minute of video, about $0.39.
- Voice clones and 2 custom avatars made from you.
- 29 languages and 5 brand kits for client work.
Cons
- Monthly billing costs about 69% more than annual.
- Still one user per account, so no shared projects.
- No priority support, only email help.
What Does the Pictory Teams Plan Include?
Teams is the plan for three or more people. It includes everything in Professional, plus shared brand assets, shared projects and onboarding for the team. Members can share a project so a teammate reviews it and makes changes.
Storage rises to 100 GB, and you get 10 brand kits and priority support. Each member can also add 2 custom avatars. Pictory doesn’t say whether the price rises with each extra user. Fastio reports that the “per-user cost drops to roughly $40/month” for three people on annual billing.
Example: Three separate Professional accounts cost 3 × $420 = $1,260 a year and hold 216,000 credits. Teams holds the same 216,000 credits for $1,428, so the extra $168 pays for sharing. On monthly billing the gap is smaller: 3 × $59 = $177 against $199.
Pricing: $119 a month on annual billing, which is $1,428 a year, or $199 billed monthly, for 3 or more users.
Best For
- Video teams of three who share brand kits and review projects.
Pros
- Shared brand assets, shared projects and view-only preview links.
- 100 GB of storage and 10 brand kits.
- Priority support plus onboarding and training.
Cons
- Pictory doesn’t publish a per-user price.
- Same total credits as three separate Professional accounts.
- Costs $168 a year more than three Professional accounts.
What Does Pictory Enterprise Add?
Enterprise is Pictory’s custom plan for large training and marketing teams. It adds single sign-on (SSO), custom-built templates, a dedicated account manager and custom credits. Video consulting comes with it too.
The training features stand out. Enterprise adds SCORM export for a learning management system (LMS), quizzes and knowledge checks, clickable links and AI-generated chapters. Pictory Central hosting keeps those videos in one place.
Say your team builds compliance courses from slide decks. Enterprise lets the finished video drop into the LMS with its quiz attached, which no other plan can do.
That fits how people use the tool. Pictory CEO Vikram Chalana says “AI video creation is no longer a niche activity.” The same June 2026 report found training teams use PowerPoint to video 4x more than YouTube creators.
Pricing: Custom quote through Pictory’s sales team.
Best For
- Training teams that need SSO, SCORM and LMS-ready video at scale.
Pros
- SCORM export, quizzes and knowledge checks for every course.
- SSO, priority support and a dedicated account manager.
- Credits set to your volume, not a fixed plan card.
Cons
- No public price, so comparing plans means booking a sales call.
- Fastio reports a 10-user starting point.
- The API still sits on its own separate plan.
Which Pictory Pricing Plan Costs Least per Minute?
Professional costs least per minute: about $0.39 per video minute on annual billing. We divided each plan’s yearly price by its yearly minutes.
| Plan | Cost a minute, annual billing | Cost a minute, monthly billing |
|---|---|---|
| Starter | $0.83 | $0.97 |
| Professional | $0.39 | $0.66 |
| Teams | $0.40 | $0.66 |

Four checks settle the choice:
- Volume: Under 10 minutes a month, Starter is enough.
- Voice: Need your own cloned voice or avatar? Pick Professional.
- People: Three or more editors sharing brand kits need Teams.
- AI clips: Count your Veo 3.1 seconds first, since they burn credits fastest.
If video is a regular channel for you, plan the volume with a video content marketing strategy first.
Top Tip: Pay monthly for your first month. Pictory gives no refunds, so a wrong yearly plan costs the full $420 on Professional.
How Does Pictory Pricing Compare With Synthesia and HeyGen?
Pictory’s entry plan costs more than Synthesia’s and about the same as HeyGen’s. The bigger difference is the kind of video each one makes.
| Tool | First paid plan, paid yearly (per month) | One user for a year | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pictory | $25 | $300 | Posts and scripts as stock-footage video |
| Synthesia | $14 | $168 | Avatar presenter videos |
| HeyGen | $24 | $288 | Avatar and spokesperson clips |
Best for labels are our own summaries. Pictory builds videos from stock footage, while Synthesia and HeyGen center on avatars. Our Synthesia pricing and HeyGen pricing guides break down their credits. Prices change, so check each vendor’s page before you buy.
What Should You Do Next With Pictory?
Pictory pricing looks simple at $25 to $119 a month. The real cost sits in the credit pool, which covers plenty of stock-footage minutes but few Veo 3.1 clips. So the plan you need depends on what you generate, not how many videos you post.
Start the 14-day free trial this week with one real script. Count the credits it uses, then pick the plan whose yearly pool covers twelve months of that. If several people will touch each video, map the review steps with project management software for video creators.
FAQs
Is Pictory Free?
No, Pictory has no free plan, only a 14-day free trial. Under Pictory pricing, the trial includes 300 credits, or up to 10 minutes of video. You can make 3 videos up to 5 minutes long, with 720p exports, Pictory branding and 500 MB of storage.
Does Pictory Offer Refunds?
No. Pictory doesn’t offer refunds on paid subscriptions. You can cancel anytime, and you won’t be charged at the next renewal, but the money already paid stays with Pictory. That’s why the trial matters before you commit to an annual plan of $300 or more.
What Happens to My Videos If I Cancel Pictory?
Your videos are yours to keep, but only the files you download. Pictory permanently deletes video projects from the platform when the account is cancelled. Export every final video, and any version you may want to edit again, before you cancel.
Does Pictory Have a Nonprofit Discount?
Yes, Pictory offers a nonprofit discount, but it doesn’t publish the amount. Pictory pricing tells nonprofits to log in and ask through the chat box in the bottom right corner of the screen. Ask for the exact rate in writing before you pick a plan.
Does Pictory Include API Access?
No paid plan includes API access. Pictory sells its API as a separate product with its own plans, so Starter, Professional and Teams can’t call it. If you want to build videos from your own software, budget for that plan on top of a creator plan.
